Senior eDiscovery Sales Consultant

Objective

The eDiscovery Senior Sales person will be responsible to sell Lighthouse’s services to Fortune 500 corporations and AmLaw 200 law firms and to promote Lighthouse as an industry leader. This position will be a Senior Director or Vice President, depending on experience. This position will also be involved in prospecting for new clients, discussing our capabilities with existing clients relating to a new engagement or a new aspect of an existing engagement, and the early stages of a client project around scope definition. Initially, this position will be an individual contributor with sales targets in a defined region of the United States, preferably the East, but the expectation is that this position will build a team of sales people working with him or her as the opportunities expand in that region.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for and close sales opportunities with Fortune 500 corporations and AmLaw 200 law firms
  • Meet and participate in conference calls with clients and prospects
  • Consult with clients and prospects regarding their data needs and Lighthouse solutions
  • Work alongside Lighthouse executive management to develop best sales and product strategies
  • Help position Lighthouse as an industry thought leader
  • Ensure that the company is optimizing its use of eDiscovery tools to best serve its clients and prospects
  • Stay current and well-read on new tools, technologies and trends
  • Stay current on prospective clients, current market conditions, and competitive information

Education Requirements and Experience

  • 5+ years in the eDiscovery industry with an emphasis on selling services or products to large corporations
  • Established relationships with the legal departments of many Fortune 500 corporations
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Management and training of junior sales personnel preferred
  • 10+ years senior sales experience, preferably 5+ years selling other products or services to Fortune 500 companies prior to eDiscovery experience, with history of growth in sales and responsibility
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Experience using relevant software applications and eDiscovery platforms for ingesting, processing, hosting and producing data
  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end litigation lifecycle
